LIBERALS ARE RIGHT: OBAMA IS A GENIUS!

Last week we witnessed another stunning example of President Obama's willingness to marginalize any citizen who would dare ask a legitimate question of his administration. For instance, why is the border with Mexico still not secure?

With the brashness of a sixth grader, Mr. Obama was stupefied. In his mind, the border is more secure than ever before in our history. Ignore the 34,000 deaths on both sides of the border over the last 10 years and listen to him. It is secure. End of issue.

Is he kidding me?

I live in Phoenix, Az. My neighbors and I pay, out of our own pockets, for extra security in our neighborhood to protect our family against the ongoing violence creeping across our border every day. Families in Tucson experience home invasions, drunken driving accidents and various other crimes that, more often than not, are associated with some form of illegal-alien activity.

Certain areas in Cochise County are so dangerous that the government posted signs to warn of the danger and advise American citizens to stay off their own land. But Mr. Obama thinks he can give a 15-minute speech laced with lies and distortions and we will all forget about the invasion of our country that he prefers to ignore?

The concerns and fears prompted by an unsecured border are very real, Mr. President. We deal with it every day. For you to come down to El Paso and tell us to get over it in your pursuit of Hispanic votes is only making it worse. Not to mention, it's not presidential.

"They wanted more agents at the border. Well, we now have more boots on the ground on the Southwest border than at any time in our history," said Mr. Obama. He then increased his attack on concerned citizens and said, "The Border Patrol has 20,000 agents, more than twice as many as there were in 2004. … They wanted a fence. Well, the fence is now basically complete."

Not true! Napolitano canceled the virtual fence needed in the areas where a physical fence was not practical.

He went on to say that those of us who want our border secure are constantly looking to "move the goal posts." No Mr. President, we don't see it as a game. We don't play politics like you do. We want to live in safety and rule of law.

It is not Americans who are changing the goal posts. It is the coyotes and the drug smugglers. It is the human traffickers and sex slave masters. You and Janet just ain't keeping up. It is the illegal aliens breaking the law who have found better ways to beat the protection you claim to have provided. Your nonsensical approach to safety is to offer a good speech. Speeches don't stop a drug smuggler from murdering an officer of the law or a coyote from selling an innocent child into slavery.

Instead of solutions, he offered more satire.

"Maybe they'll need a moat," he said. "Maybe they'll want alligators in the moat. They'll never be satisfied."

Actually, Mr. President, that just might do the trick. It's the first intelligent suggestion he has made during his two-year reign of chaos. While he offered it to demean and marginalize his critics, to play politics with people's lives, we will still accept it. That is exactly what we want.

So when coyotes bring over lawbreakers, they will be eaten by alligators. With the current flow of traffic, 'em gators will grow real fast and be able to eat more. Soon all who come across will be eaten, and the border will be secure. And, to think, alligators won't need paychecks!

The liberals are right! This man is a genius!

With this suggestion Mr. Obama has offered, I am going to throw my support into his camp and say, "Obama 2012!" If he is willing to offer such practical solutions to pressing issues as alligators eating lawbreakers on our southern border, I'm a 100 percent behind him. Soon our problems we be resolved.

But until then, Mr. President, don't think for one minute that making fun of the citizens you swore an oath to protect is going to stop the cries of the people who demand their borders be secured and the applicable laws of the border be enforced.

Don't think you can accuse people of playing politics and then play them, in triplicate, yourself. You maybe be fooling yourself, but you are not fooling us.

You may think you can marginalize your critics and act like we don't count. You may believe we are nothing but a bunch of redneck hicks too busy "clinging onto to our God and guns" to pay attention, but we are paying attention. You, with the help of your minions in the media, may have fooled the American people once – but you are not going to fool us again.

So keep mocking us, Mr. Obama. Continue to delude yourself and dismiss the realities we in the Southwest face. I'm sure your lies, distortions and misrepresentation of the facts will fool a handful of those who know no better. But you are not going to fool enough to get another four years in the White House.

Stop mocking the people and do your job for all the people – or pack your bags, Mr. President. You're not just working for the union hacks or those looking for government handouts, those who aren't educated enough to know your game. Take care of the people who work hard, pay taxes and play by the rules, the same people who pay your bills.

Those are the people who should have your respect, not your scorn.
