GIVE ME ANYBODY BUT OBAMA!

Last Tuesday your president, by any reasonable definition of the word, lied.

I sat in my office listening to every painful distortion until I was seething with anger. What happened Tuesday should have every American paying very close attention to each word this man speaks.

Does the president really believe Americans do not see through his lies? Does he really believe we are too dumb to know better?

When the president says things such as, "The fact is, their vision is less about reducing the deficit than it is about changing the basic social compact in America," and then suggests Paul Ryan's budget will require the loss of insurance for up to 50 million Americans, the truth means nothing to him. But it gets better.

"And who are those 50 million Americans? Many are someone's grandparents who wouldn't be able to afford nursing home care without Medicaid. Many are poor children. Some are middle-class families who have children with autism or Down's syndrome. Some are kids with disabilities so severe that they require 24-hour care. These are the Americans we'd be telling to fend for themselves."

Does Obama really believe we are buying this?

His statements are preposterous by any standard, and yet he is apparently banking on our acceptance of his truth. His second term depends on it.

Mr. Obama blatantly lied when he said the Ryan plan would "end Medicare as we know it." The Ryan plan employs free markets, competition and reforms to save Medicare – many of the very same methods Mr. Obama claims his health-care bill employs. Yet when Paul Ryan uses Mr. Obama's own methods, old people starve and disabled children crawl in the streets without services. Obama should be ashamed of himself, but don't count on it.

After this speech I am convinced this president will stoop to any low necessary to con the American people into giving him another four years. He needs those four years to forever change our country into a big-government behemoth that destroys free markets and capitalism.

A few weeks ago, Mr. Obama offered his first 2011 budget with tens of billions of dollars of new spending that would have doubled our national debt in 10 years.

The following week, the Ryan plan was presented cutting $6 trillion off the deficit in 10 years. The response from the White House a few days later was a new and improved, deficit-cutting, tax-raising Obama.

What caused this sudden epiphany? November 2012. He is clearly in campaign mode.

He makes it a point in every speech, every press conference to be absolutely clear, perfectly clear, crystal clear. It is his speech writers' favorite line. When we hear him claim to speak with such clarity, it is so the lie he is about to present becomes our reality.

We will also hear Mr. Obama play the class warfare card. The "rich" and the "wealthiest among us" will get a lot of play in his speeches. Mr. Obama envisions an America where 50 percent of the people pay zero tax and get all the benevolence of the divine leader through entitlements, while the other 50 percent pay the rest with a sizable portion coming from the top 2 percent. He talks about shared sacrifice, yet I only see sacrifice coming from the producers.

In his first two years, this president, equipped with the Pelosi-led Congress, has done more to wreck the economy and grow the debt than any president in our history. He and his Congress also ignored the people on stimulus and health care, claiming they know better than we do about what we need.

Mr. Obama has recognized that lies, when offered with real conviction, work. However, a funny thing happened on the road to his socialist fantasy. It was the roadblock of the 2010 elections. He was handed one of the worst political defeat in American politics.

Yet it has done absolutely nothing to change his belief that he can lie his way to another term.

I am very optimistic about America's future. The debate in Washington is one that has changed substantially. We as a nation, if the Republicans remember why we voted for them, are headed back to a sound fiscal future. We must reject the lies and demagoguery of the left that Mr. Obama offers as truth.

Everyone knows we can't spend more than we make. We must change programs that currently provide handouts to those that offer a hand up. Government must be reduced to its rightful size and authority. This is the time, and we are the people to get it done.

It all starts with stopping the lies. That requires eliminating from the political arena the purveyors of lies. The grandest of which is Barack Hussein Obama.

Therefore, after watching this speech, I will now be voting for anyone other than BHO. I never voted for him in the first place. And now America has had a taste of what a real leftist would do to our nation.

So give me Trump, Palin, Pawlenty, Daniels, Huckabee, Romney or Mickey Mouse – anybody but Obama.
